Thank you HEIR WAVE!!!

I am having people come up and thank me for telling them about HEIR WAVE RADIO!!! I played at a church in Oklahoma City, last Friday--I had previously been there and had a sign on my table about Heir Wave Radio, they were so happy to find a 100% Christian Radio Station!! Thanks Tommy and Daniel!!!!

Luke10:40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.

I remember as a child, trying to keep pace walking with dad. He had long legs with wide steps. For each step of his, it took three or four running steps for me to keep up. Today, I watch my dad walk with my granddaughter. Their steps stay in time with each others. The words hurry or slow have been silenced in time past. Much can be learned from both their sets of steps.

The time between a grandfather and a granddaughters steps, are about 40 years. Forty years filled with school, soccer, scouts, church, banquets, ceremonies, work...Sit down meal times are replaced with drive through carryouts and eatting on the way. I'll grab a bite, I'll eat later, and tv dinners speak for themselves. Time has been replaced with long, wide, hurrying steps.

v39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said. Much can be learned through Mary and Marthas steps. Mary and Martha both truly loved the Lord. Mary was so busy, that she didn't realize she was neglecting her guest. Can we be so busy serving for Christ, that we forget to spend anytime with Him? Service can become a distraction/selfserving. Whisper: Lord, can this also apply within ones own family? So simple is a meal or an evening walk, yet they can become difficult steps. Difficult when the hands of time are replaced with the word I (v40 me, myself): I'm too busy and I don't have time.

Lord, prayers lifted that ones steps of service slow down for time to sit and listen to Your precious whispers. Lord, prayers lifted for one to take the time for a walk with You and a time for a walk with a loved one. It's time for steps to stay in time with anothers. It's time for steps shared.
